Sharing and embedding shows and episodes

Sharing a link to a show or episode

The best way to grow your audience is to share your show.

Post a link to your show, episode, or video on your social media, or simply send a direct link to friends and family.

To share your a link to your show:

  • On Spotify for Creators web, go to Home then click Share or Icon for sharing a link to something
  • On the Spotify for Creators mobile app, tap Podcast icon Podcast then Share icon
  • On the Spotify desktop app or open.spotify.com, click the 3 dots then Share and Copy Show Link
  • On the Spotify mobile app, tap the 3 dots then Share

To share a link to an episode or video:

  • On Spotify for Creators web, go to Episodes and select the 3 dots next to an episode, then Share episode
  • On the Spotify for Creators mobile app, go to Podcast icon Podcast, tap the episode or video then Share icon
  • On the Spotify desktop app or open.spotify.com, click the 3 dots then Share and Copy Episode Link
  • On the Spotify mobile app, tap the 3 dots then Share

Note: You can only share links to published episodes or videos.

Embedding a show or episode

By embedding your show on a web page you own, fans can enjoy your episodes directly from your website.

To embed a show, episode, or video:

  1. Open the Spotify desktop app or open.spotify.com.
  2. Click the 3 dots next to the show name, episode, or video.
  3. Select Share then Embed show or Embed episode.
  4. Adjust the size, color, and start time of your embed, then click Copy.
  5. Paste the code into a web page that you control.

Tip: If you’re a WordPress user, you may need a plugin like this one.

Note: It’s not possible to get your embed code from the Spotify mobile app or from Spotify for Creators.

To keep your stats accurate, we don’t recommend preloading or autoplaying your audio when you embed your show on an external website.
