Forecasting and budget for Marquee and Showcase
Minimum and maximum budgets
Your budget can be between $100 and $10,000 USD (or the equivalent in local currency).
You set your budget when you create your Marquee or Showcase campaign, and you can easily adjust sub-campaign budgets from the campaign overview page.
We show a maximum deliverable budget based on your format, targeting, market selections, and audience size on Spotify. You can set your budget higher or lower than our suggested maximum depending on your goals.
Note: The minimum budget is $250 if you book your Marquee campaign through our local representatives.
Considerations when choosing your budget
Your campaign will never spend more than its chosen budget. If you spend your full budget in less than 10 days (for Marquee) or 14 days (for Showcase), your campaign ends.
You can't increase your budget after your campaign starts, but you can create an additional campaign.
When you enter a budget, we estimate how likely it is that your full budget will be spent. We also show an estimated reach and number of clicks your campaign might generate.
Campaigns are priced on a cost per click basis, and clicks - including saves - are billable.
Prices vary based on factors like your audience and target market.
How our forecasting works
We provide a forecast to help you estimate your campaign’s impact.
The forecasts we provide are best estimates at the time we make them. It’s normal for them to change as we incorporate the latest available data.
Forecasts can be influenced by a variety of factors, including:
- Competition from other bookings: Your forecast can be impacted if there are other artists running campaigns in the same market.
- Your other booked campaigns: We limit the number of Marquee campaigns a listener can receive for the same release.
- Changes to your audience data: Fluctuations in the number of listeners in your Spotify for Artists audience segments can affect your forecast.
- Our active streaming predictions: We don’t show campaigns to listeners who’ve already actively streamed your promoted release in the last 21 days - or who we predict are likely to go on to actively stream it. Learn more about active and programmed streaming
- Our likely listener predictions: We show campaigns to listeners who we determine are most likely to stream your promoted release after seeing the campaign. The number of likely listeners can vary from release to release.
- Our campaign performance predictions: Our forecasts include predictions about how we expect listeners to engage with your promoted release.
We can’t guarantee delivery of your full budget. You’ll only be charged for the number of clicks that your campaign receives.
