Canvas not showing in the Spotify app

Use the steps below to check your device, settings, and song rights.

Check your device

  • Canvas plays only in the Spotify mobile app
  • iOS 12 or later
  • Android 6.0 or later

Check your app settings

Open the Spotify mobile app, tap your avatar, and select Settings and privacy:

  1. In Data-saving and offline, set Data Saver to Off.
  2. In Content and display, turn Canvas on.

Check song ownership (labels only)

If you have split rights to a track, you can add Canvas only to versions you own.

Make sure you’re viewing your version.
