Using ISBNs for audiobooks on Spotify
An ISBN (International Standard Book Number) is a unique number that identifies a specific book format or edition. ISBNs aren’t required to publish an audiobook on Spotify and don’t get automatically assigned to audiobooks published through Spotify for Authors.
If you already have an ISBN, you can add it during the upload process in Spotify for Authors.
To get an ISBN, you can purchase or request one from your country or region’s official ISBN distributor.
