Why Does the Sales Dashboard Not Match My Official Royalty Report?
The Live Sales Dashboard displays audiobook sales based on the transaction date of the purchase. In other words, the transaction date is the date the book was sold by the retailer/distributor, or the date it was reported to us in cases where transaction date does not apply (i.e. pool business models, ex: Scribd)
Official royalty reports are period based reporting which does not use the transaction date for the sale, but rather the time period in which the transaction was reported and paid to you.
In short, this means that discrepancies will occur between reporting shown in the Sales Dashboard, and official royalty reports.
