Clips

Clips are short, under-30-second vertical videos you can upload through Spotify for Artists.

Uploading Clips

For: Admins and Editors

1. Log in to Spotify for Artists
2. Go to Video & Visuals, or hit the Create a Clip card on your Home tab.
3. Select Upload Clip (web) / (mobile app).

Note: Clips are currently in beta. If you don't see the upload button, join the waitlist and we’ll let you know when Clips are available to you.

Your Clips need to be:

• Vertical with audio
• Longer than 3 seconds
• Shorter than 30 seconds
• At least 1280 x 720 pixels

Note: Make sure your Clips abide by our platform rules and content policy.

Scheduling Clips

You can add a Clip to an upcoming release by following the upload steps above.

Your Clip goes live on the same day as your release.

Editing or deleting your Clips

Your Video & Visuals tab shows you all the Clips you’ve uploaded, and the order they appear to your listeners.

Scheduled clips are marked with and the date they go live.

Click a video to edit its caption or delete it.

Where listeners see your Clips

Your Clips appear on your artist profile, release page, and Now Playing View on the Spotify mobile app. Clips can also appear on the Home tab.

Spotify listeners in the following markets can view Clips:
