Spotify in the car

Hitting the road? Bring Spotify with you in the car.

Note: Some cars require Spotify Premium, and supported connection types vary between devices and regions.

Newer models

Most newer cars now have their own entertainment systems, which makes it super easy to bring Spotify along for the ride. You can do so either direct from an built-in app, or through a range of connection methods such as those detailed below.

Check out how to play Spotify with makes such as Jaguar Land Rover, Volvo, BMW, MINI, and TESLA.

You can also visit Spotify Gear to see which cars we support. If you don’t see yours there, you can check with the car’s manufacturer.

For your safety

Only use your mobile device when allowed by law and when conditions permit safe use.

Always set up Spotify before you drive and avoid interacting with your device while the car is in motion.

Never let your use of a mobile device distract you from the driving task. Always drive safely, with your hands on the wheel and eyes and attention on the road.
