Getting started

Messaging someone on Spotify is easy. You can either share Spotify content or start a new chat.

Finding your chats

To access your recent chats or new message requests:

1. Tap your profile picture.
2. Scroll to Messages. Your recent chats show right below.
3. Tap Show all to see more.

Managing your message notifications

To control notifications for Spotify Messages:

1. Tap your profile picture.
2. Select Settings and privacy.
3. Tap Notifications.
4. Tap Social features.
5. Select Messages, then you can turn the switch on or off .
