Uploading your 2026 Wrapped author video
Eligible authors can upload a short video for their top listeners to see as part of their 2026 Wrapped experience.
Upload your video by November 13, 2026.
2026 Wrapped author video eligibility
Not all authors are eligible for 2026 Wrapped author videos. You need to meet a minimum consumption threshold to be eligible.
Eligibility updates daily through October 31, 2026. If you’re not eligible yet, you may become eligible as your listening hours grow.
Authors
Getting access
Self-published authors: Log in at authors.spotify.com. If you’re eligible, you’ll see a Wrapped banner on your dashboard.
Authors who work with a publisher: Ask your publisher for an invite to Spotify for Authors. Invite links are valid for 7 days. If your link expires, ask your publisher for a new one.
Video requirements
Before uploading, make sure your video:
- Is in vertical or portrait format
- Is an MP4 or MOV file
- Is no longer than 30 seconds
- Is no larger than 100 MB
- Doesn’t include music, filters, brands, or logos
- Doesn’t include profanity or sponsored content
Uploading your video
- Log in at authors.spotify.com.
- Select the Wrapped banner.
- Select the primary language spoken in your video.
- Drag and drop your video, or select Select a video.
- Agree to the terms.
- Select Submit.
You can upload a new video before the deadline to replace one you submitted earlier.
If your publisher uploaded a video for you, you can replace it with your own.
Choosing what to include
Your video could include:
- A thank-you message to your listeners
- A preview of what’s coming next
- A story about a memorable moment from 2026
You can also play the example videos in Spotify for Authors for inspiration.
Video review
Your video needs to follow our platform rules and content policy.
We review submitted videos against our guidelines. Submitting a video doesn’t guarantee we’ll show it to listeners.
If your video doesn’t meet our guidelines, we’ll let you know. You can upload a replacement before the deadline.
Publishers
Checking eligible authors
Log in at authors.spotify.com and go to Authors > 2026 Wrapped.
Your dashboard shows:
- Eligible authors
- Onboarded authors
- Videos uploaded
You can search for an author or filter the list by invitation status and video status.
For each eligible author, you can also check their Spotify for Authors status and whether they’ve uploaded a video.
Inviting authors
You can invite eligible authors who aren’t connected to Spotify for Authors.
Select Invite next to an author. From their 2026 Wrapped page, you can:
- Invite them to Spotify for Authors
- Copy and share their invite link
- Upload a video on their behalf
Invite links are valid for 7 days. If a link expires, generate a new one.
Inviting multiple authors
Select Download 2026 Wrapped CSV to manage invitations for multiple authors.
The CSV includes each eligible author’s:
- Invite link
- Invitation status
- Video upload status
- Invite link expiration date
Downloading a new CSV generates new invite links. Existing links continue to work until they expire.
Uploading videos for authors
Select an author from Authors > 2026 Wrapped, then select Upload from their 2026 Wrapped page.
The same video requirements apply when you upload on an author’s behalf.
Select the primary language spoken in the video, upload the file, agree to the terms, then select Submit.
If an author uploads their own video, it takes priority over a video uploaded by their publisher.
Only the person who originally uploaded a video can replace it.
Checking uploaded videos
Go to Authors > 2026 Wrapped to check the video status for your eligible authors.
Select Preview to play an uploaded video.
Where listeners see your video
We may show your 2026 Wrapped author video to your top listeners as part of their Wrapped experience.
Your video isn’t visible to listeners before Wrapped launches.
