Finding your artist, track, and release URLs
Artist URL
On desktop
- Go to your artist profile.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your artist name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy link to artist.
Tip: For help finding your artist profile, search for your artist name together with your track/album name.
On mobile
- Go to your artist profile.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
Track URL
On desktop
- Go to your track.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your track name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy Song Link.
On mobile
- Go to your track.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
Release URL
On desktop
- Go to your release.
- Click the 3 dots or right-click your release name.
- Select Share.
- Select Copy Album Link.
On mobile
- Go to your release.
- Tap the 3 dots.
- Tap Share.
- Select Copy link.
URL vs URI
Your URI has the same purpose as your URL. You can easily convert your URL to a URI.
For example:
- URL: open.spotify.com/artist/1a2b3c4d5e6f7g
- URI: spotify:artist:1a2b3c4d5e6f7g
To get your URI, follow the desktop steps and then hold the alt key (Windows) / option key (Mac) and select Copy Spotify URI.
Giving your distributor your artist URL
Our preferred and recommended distributors let you deliver music with a specified artist identifier.
If you work with one of these distributors, give them your artist URL or URI to ensure that your music is added to your profile correctly.
