Changing artist name

You can’t manually change your artist name on Spotify. We display the artist name in the metadata delivered to us.

To change your artist name, ask your label or distributor to submit a metadata update to us, listing your new name in each of your releases.

Your label or distributor should also inform our Content Operations team about the name change.
