Creating an artist profile on Spotify
Your artist profile is created automatically when your music is first uploaded to Spotify. It's not possible to create an artist profile yourself.
We require all music to be uploaded via labels and distributors to make sure everything's properly licensed. If you don't have a distributor yet, check out the ones we recommend.
When your music goes live, you can claim your new artist account with Spotify for Artists. With Spotify for Artists you can track how your music is performing and customize your profile with images, playlists, merch, and more.
Tip: To claim your artist profile before your first release goes live, you’ll need your Spotify artist link. Your music distributor can give you your artist link once they’ve delivered your music to us.
